Exclamation What can we do better?
We are looking for any input from players old and new. The pack has been public for a fair bit of time now. Plenty of downloads and a steady player base. We would like to hear from anyone who has tried the pack what we can do better. Do you want different mods? Different configs or recipes? Etc. Feel free to give us any recommendation!

I have installed the server instance for your pack for a community I'm a part of, however the packs default server instance does not have FTBUtilities, and the version of FTBLib that is shipped with the pack is very old, is there any chance you can release an update to the pack with a new version of FTBLib and FTBUtilities, it would be really handy for players to be able to claim their building areas using FTBUtilities, however the version of Utils that matches up to the version of FTBLib that you have installed does not have the teams gui implimented, and therefore players cannot claim their land.

I was going to update the mods on our server instance, however the version of Yabba that is on the pack doesn't seem to want to load with the new version of FTBLib, I don't know if there's a newer version of Yabba than the one in the pack currently

also, does the pack need refined storage as well as Applied Energistics? AE is much nicer, and seems much less laggy

thanks

FtbUtils is not included because I'm not a fan. The only reason FTBLib is in the pack is because it's a required mod for some others. You've also answered your own question there with updating FTBLib. Just because a new version of something is out doesn't mean it's overall healthy for the pack. In this case, everything breaks with the new FTBLib and yabba. We monitor these mod behaviors and report bugs that we can but in the end it's up to the mod authors after that.

Alternatives to FtbUtils on a server will of course be running the server with sponge.

It's about variety to me. Removing any mod is not good for the popularity of a pack or its player base. I remove RS and how many people instantly lose all their items? As a server owner id you find it laggy feel free to disable a recipe to make the mod not function. Maybe the controller and several others.

Thanks for the input. We will look into FtbUtils at least for optional server downloads.
