RE: Moonquest Modpack
I have a Problem on Moonquest and creating a server. I have months ago created a vanilla server and now decided to create a At Moonquest server so me and a friend can play on and i clicked on the create a server tab and downloaded all the the files and i checked the ports forwarding and it was the same as regular Minecraft so i left that alone and the server works for me but when my friend tries to connect it says connecting to server but it never connects. Can somebody please help me with this problem.

I'm sorry but this is something I can't help with, it could be a number of things like firewalls, antivirus's and so on. All I know is I have had a local server going for a long while and it does work :/

RE: Moonquest Modpack
So how did you set up the local server? Did you have any connection problems when you were setting it up?

RE: Moonquest Modpack
simply run the create server command through the launcher for the respective pack. use the launch.bat file to launch the server and connect to it using localhost as the IP. For anyone else, they would need your IP

RE: Moonquest Modpack
Hey guys, Haighyorkie here (would you believe)

Well some news on the next version of MoonQuest and a big issue for me has arisen. I've gone to update mods today for this pack but unfortunately it seems that UE has undergone yet ANOTHER change. Mekanism has also decided to part ways with UE and to be honest I can see why. Not only that but basic components has now changed, and Mekanism Induction has now become Resonant Induction...again.
ICBM is not compatible with the latest version of UE at the moment yet I believe there is a mod that I have updated that needs UE3. I dont know which one because Calclavias system is totally FUBAR. You never know what version of the mod requires what version of library or core because he never lists this. Nor did he list the change in Basic components to Calc Core leaving me thinking...why the hell do I even try to keep up?

I've decided to do the following: MoonQuest will be on 0.12.0 for the foreseeable future until I can muster the energy to go through all this stuff, or until Calclavia can actually properly document the changes and what mod actually requires what.

I think that's completely reasonable. 0.12.0 works just fine now, and you've done a hell of a job getting it to where it is now. So thank you for all your hard work, and we'll see what the future brings.

RE: Moonquest Modpack
Well well well guys! Finally Calclavia has put dependancies on his mods! This is great news as it means I now know what mod requires what version of things! This is great news of rmoonquest as now it means I can get to updating it!
