RE: Pack Share Codes
The share code is based on what mods you select when the instance is (re)installed, and it only includes data about what optional mods you selected on the last (re)install. Any changes made using the Edit Mods menu do not affect the share code, as such changes cannot always be stored efficiently as a simple list of names, and would allow installing packs in a broken configuration, e. g. with required mods like Forge disabled. There are also a few technical differences between not selecting an optional mod on installation, and disabling the mod afterwards. Some mods in some packs cannot be disabled properly at all through the Edit Mods menu.

RE: Pack Share Codes
So, would you recommend building a new mod pack from scratch rather than what I've been doing? If so, I'm not sure how I would go about doing that, I'm rather new to Minecraft.
Also, when you say that some mods cannot properly be disabled through the Edit Mods menu, I take it that may involve deleting some stuff rather than just moving a file? I guess I'm going to have to search the forums to see if there is a tutorial on building a mod pack. ... After a brief search, it seems that I cannot just build a mod pack and use ATLauncher to launch it (even if it's for Local LAN use only), at least not the way the other mod packs are listed in ATLauncher. I will refrain from any further discussion here, as this is not the correct thread. PK |

Ive tried MANY different things. New pack with new mods. Changed mods you name it still spits out the same codes. we cannot use them which is causing MAJOR problems for some people. I had to go back and list the mods we use so people could join but I still have 2 players that cant join. Please fix this. or tell me how to fix it? No matter what I do it gives me the same exact code. and when my players try to use it it says invalid code. |

You need to provide information otherwise we can't do anything. Need to know the code, the mods it's supposed to be selecting, the pack it's for and the version it's for. Make sure the users who are having issues are using the same version of the pack that the code was made for. For example if the share code was made for version 1.0.0 of a pack but the latest version is 1.0.5 for example, the code won't work on the newer version. RE: Pack Share Codes
Not sure why, but I get nothing when I right click on the image and select Share Code.
I asked a friend to also try it and he also do not get any code? So i'm on Linux and he is on a Mac, could this be the reason? |

RE: Pack Share Codes
I just FINALLY got my server working and am extremely excited to play. I am playing with my 2 sons in my house and have clicked the image and entered the share code into both of their computers. I am getting the same issue with both of their PCs. Mine runs silky smooth no errors but theirs is extremely laggy, and have items with wrong meta data all over the place. Here is the share code for RR3 - WXXdVHMT
Any suggestions would be great! |

RE: Pack Share Codes
How do I add a Private/CodePack number? I don't see where we can add the private code so we can play this new server we wish to play.
Thanks! |

RE: Pack Share Codes
When you are on the Packs tab, there is a button called "Add Pack" in the upper left corner. If the pack you want to play is unlocked using a code (semi-private) and you have the code, then that's how you can get the pack.
